AM PROGRAM

 

Our focus for the morning program is to help children prepare to have a successful day at school.  We provide a healthy breakfast, following the guidelines established by the USDA food program.  Children are given an opportunity to finish any unfinished homework before they have time for free play.  Children arrive at WSES via walking (on nice days) or in daycare van.

PM PROGRAM

Children are transported via van after school each day.  We come back to the house to enjoy a healthy snack.  After snack, we do some shared or independent reading using books of choice.  The heart of our program centers around enrichment learning opportunities each afternoon.  Each day of the week has a unique theme.  We end our afternoon with free play.  On beautiful afternoons, we can be found playing outside.
